We are pleased to announce the release of Shelter Voices 2017, the fourth national survey of transition houses and shelters serving women and children affected by violence against women and intimate partner violence. This one-day snapshot from 193 shelters across the country offers a sense of the hopes, challenges, and experiences of shelter workers and the women they serve. This year’s edition of Shelter Voices also focuses on perpetrators’ misuse of technology to harm and harass women, youth, and children. We hope that this resource will assist you in the prevention and advocacy work you do in your local communities. Please find Shelter Voices 2017 attached or view it online here.
